Summary

The primary purpose of this position is the supervision of the File Room Scanning Unit of Health Information Management (HIM) which falls under the Health Administration Service (HAS) at the Marion, IL, VA Medical Center. The position serves as the supervisor responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective patient health record file service. This includes managing the manual and electronic filing of health record documents. The documents include clinical as well as administrative.
