The Registered Nurse (RN) IV - Associate Chief Nurse (ACN) for Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC) provides nursing leadership and oversight for the Community Living Centers (CLC) at the Tomah VA Medical Center. The ACN has substantial and continuous responsibility and accountability for CLC nursing operations, quality/safety, staffing, clinical practice, and Veteran-centered care. Scope of practice is defined in the dimensions of the Nurse Qualifications and is specific to the Nurse IV grade.
